I encountered Alexander about 4 years ago when I started experiencing severe neck and back pains from work and competitive dancing. My first visit to Alexander was my first contact with any osteopathic, naturopathic or chiropractor-style treatments. He made me feel very comfortable, explained the cause of the pain, what I can do to mitigate it and what I can do to prevent it. Dr. Matthew is very welcoming and easygoing. At my first visit he was very engaged in learning my health history and how I've been suffering with back pain for years. He completed his examination, which included objective measures of my spine's function which we could measure again and compare afterwards.
