To me, yoga is a dance between empowering techniques and the most gentle security blanket. Yoga is a forgiving, yet encouraging practice in strength, flexibility and clarity. I love guiding people of all ages through yoga practices so they may obtain the peace and balance they require and deserve. My yoga journey began in 2002, when I entered a studio, hopeful to find relief from chronic neck pain. Within only a few classes, I found that relief, along with an inspired sense of purpose and a deep appreciation for the physical body and it's abilities. I immediately began yoga teacher training to learn more yoga's healing possibilities and preventative philosophies. In 2006 I began guiding adults through alignment based and breath focused Ashtanga classes, adding prenatal, restorative and children's classes to my schedule in 2008.I still love practicing yoga, teaching the poses and guiding classes.
