I have had the Chef's Hat Catering company cater many of my events as well as been at functions that they have catered. The food is excellent - it's fresh and plenty of it. In fact, there has always been more food than we can eat. The staff are very professional and helpful when you don't know what to order. They help with quantities for groups. The last event I was at, everyone there complimented the Chef's Hat and plan to use them for their functions. I personally have gone there for lunch and have found the staff to be friendly and you can't beat the lunch specials. Excellent price for the amount of food you get. Keep up the good work!

We went to Capri for a family birthday and had a delicious meal at Capri. The chicken parm with vegetables was excellant and the pizza was as good as it gets! The friendly staff made our dinner even more enjoyable and we look forward to returning in the near future.

Built in 1925 by John Smallman, The Windermere Manor is a faithful architectural reflection of Tudor, England and a fitting tribute to John's father Thomas, a founding member of The Imperial Oil Company.The Smallman family had a passion for breeding and racing horses. Down the path between the hotel and Manor House, there are remnants of an old stone bridge that was once part of a horse run that wound through the property. The original farm was a horse farm and cash crops were also grown.Although slightly altered, the Manor's interior retains the feeling of a by-gone era of warmth and luxury. The baronial splendor of the Grand Hall, with it's lofty ceilings, hand-hewn beams, oak balcony and welcoming wood-burning stone fireplace all echo a by-gone era of pageantry and privilege. The hotel is built atop of what was once the large in-ground swimming pool.
