George Knudslien built the saddle and harness making business from scratch. Operating a shoe repair shop for a few years led to the opportunity to acquire antique sewing machines used for saddlemaking. these he and Morley his son, traveled through several states to bring home. They are still in use today, and make our shop a working museum! Visitors can book a tour of the shop and see first hand the ancient art of turning leather into saddles of all kinds, and harnesses made to fit your horse. We meet the need for custom harnesses from all over Alberta and western Canada. We love what we do! Fax: 7806632138

The Stockman's Stall was established in 1974 by Stan Wheller who first started working leather in 1963. Stan still owns this steadily growing business located in Killam, Alberta, Canada.
The growing number of horse owners, the lack of usable harness and the immediate response to our conventional ads has prompted us to produce an internet home page. Although trying to keep the number of styles reasonable, it does not mean that we cannot make any style or combination of your choosing. Our harness is made from Wickett and Craig leather, the best grade that we can buy. The hardware, we feel, is the most durable money can buy.
