My 10 & 11 year old boys Nathan & Ben were having trouble getting out of the water on their new wakeboard. I was towing them behind our Yamaha VX110 PWC and it was starting to get frustrating for them and me. I was beginning to wonder if the $600 investment in the board & bindings was worth it. So I looked into lessons with a coach to see if that would help. Matt & Geoff were absolutely awesome! They were very professional and confident and fun. In no time they were able to give the boys tips and instructions all the while inspiring confidence in them. The boys had agreat time on the water and were 100% successful. There was even time to give my wife some tips and she was also successful. I learned some great pointers for piloting and things to reiterate to the boys. Every day since we have been out on the water wakeboarding behind the jetski and the kids are hooked. They are also developing some great skills from their solid foundation. It's the best $150 spent this vacation and totally worthwhile. We hope to do another day with them so that the boys can step it up a notch.

Originally from Saskatchewan he graduated university in 1994 with a degree in physical therapy and moved to the West Kootenays in 2003 where he bought Valhalla. First and foremost Kirby considers himself a sport therapist and has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of the injured athlete. He has worked with athletes in a variety of sports but has a special passion for hockey. He has worked with hockey players from novice to professional, including members of Canada's Olympic Teams and several NHL players.
