Monster Muffin (the clothing line not the skater/designer) was born in 2004 and has been emerging from the underground fashion scene ever since. Designer Lori Peltonen first started the line immediately after graduating from the Fashion Techniques and Design program at George Brown College in Toronto. At first the collection was alternative street attire and lots and lots of custom made clothing. A few years later roller derby was introduced to her and she fell in love not only with the sport and the fashion but most importantly the people. After a few months of getting to know more about this incredible sport she joined the Renegade Derby Dames in Alliston, Ontario. Today she is co-captain of the Striking Vikings (RDD's A team) and runs the endurance classes once a week. When not in her studio sewing she is on the track or at least beside one set up with her booth o' awesomeness.

She is a young businesswoman who began her knowledge of fashion since she was a child, following the suggestion of her grandmother and mother (both designers and manufacturers), with 25 years of experience she has managed to guide the company towards a level of excellence in customer service, attention.
She started to launch her children’s clothing line in Canada at St Mary’s Parish in Barrie since 1997.
Father Sheehy and the patrons of the church allowed her to display communion dresses at church after mass.
People at church loved her beautiful designs and from that blessed beginning she worked hard to promote Kelyta’s.
I personally travel to Los Angeles to hand pick the latest style’s from designers themselves. Fashion has always been my passion and I am now bringing the latest formal wear styles to Simcoe County. I take pride in making your dreams come true on your special day. Thank you for choosing Kelyta’s.
