Qi Therapy in Antigonish practices traditional medicine, and believes in a holistic approach to illness: solve the problem from the root cause, as well as address immediate symptoms. The treatments we use in our practice are a composite of traditional Chinese and traditional Japanese medicine, which includes: acupuncture, acupressure massage, Japanese hot stone massage, fire cupping, and Qi Gong.

New Glasgow Essential Elements Massage Clinic opened in 2009 and is owned and operated by Ashley Hebert-MacLean, RMT and Liam Maclean, RMT. Located downtown with convenient parking, the clinic boasts a comfortable waiting area and three spacious treatment rooms, all in a welcoming, professional atmosphere. Massage tables with adjustable height, a pregnancy table, and natural, environmentally friendly products and cleaning supplies all complement Essential Elements' philosophy, “health care with a personal touch." The clinic handles all cases and conditions, from acute injuries, chronic conditions and MVA cases as well as relaxation and preventive care. Resident therapists are always happy to provide assessments and self-care exercises, as well as answer any questions clients have about massage therapy or specific conditions.
