Headwaters Arts is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering artistic development, appreciation, and enjoyment in the Hills of Headwaters Region through exhibitions, festivals, scholarships, and community engagement.
Through the use of non-objective abstract painting on canvas, Elizabeth's current work explores gesture, process and chance. These organic paintings become more evolved and considered as she stratigically begins to harness the drip marks offered by chance to assist in creating the skeletal framework which assists her in revealing the final painting. Elizabeth has participated in a numerous art show within the Toronto and Caledon area since graduation. She is a member of Loop Gallery in Toronto, on Queen Street West. Elizabeth Babyn had a recent art exhibition in Toronto at Loop Gallery, called Playing off the Grid. In Nov-December she was part of an international art show in Ferrara italy called 'Traces of Memory.

The gallery at Dragonfly Arts on Broadway displays the works of over 200 Canadian Artists, with an emphasis on local talent. You will find handcrafted jewellery, glass, pottery and wood items. Our Studio Artists can be found creating new work and are happy to discuss special commissions and art techniques with you.
