We believe in empowering people to deal with the stresses and problems in their lives. Our focus is on prevention as well as intervention.We provide for this in the North Island Community through Advocacy- Crisis Intervention and Referral Services- Ongoing Counseling and Support Services Our approach is to work in a pro-active manner as a co-operative member of the local service providers.
We the Quatsino First Nation, proud descendants of the Gusgimukw who were placed on these lands by the Creator, have persevered throughout time by valuing our traditions and people and by continually exercising our inherent right to the lands and resources of our traditional territory.
