I love visiting this store. The ladies who run it are very friendly and helpful, there are lovely items, and they are surprisingly affordable (the items, not the ladies ha ha ha!).
We drive out here and take a peek around the store, then get an ice cream next door. It's a relaxing little thing to do on a quiet day.Read more
I was in the community of Blind River this summer and went for chips one day and , happened upon this cute little store - The birch tree. They have the cutest little brick a bracts. Nothing was tacky or kitschy, but very aesthetically pleasing, in good taste and best of all at great prices. Also the nicest woman, Sherry ( if I remember correctly) working there. Friendly and knowledgeable she guided us without being pushy. Wonderful candles, picture frames, purses, and other home things. . If you happen to be in the area, I think you would be pleasantly surprised at what you find. I'm not sure if it's an all year round store or just a summer store, but stop in if it's open. T.Read more
