Manson's Hall Renovation Thank Yous If you take the opportunity to have a good look around Manson's Hall, you'll see that the organizational efforts and hands-on work of a great many people over the last few years have given new life to our community centre. Since last July, major improvements have been made in the playschool, both upstairs rooms, both main floor offices and the bathrooms and hallways.
It is with great sadness that the Regional District has learned of the passing of Director Ted Lewis, Mayor of Zeballos, on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Director Lewis has served on the Board of Directors since the Strathcona Regional District was formed in 2008 as well as on the Board of its predecessor, the Comox-Strathcona Regional District. He also served as Chair of the Regional Board during 2013.
Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex consists of a 37.5 meter pool, Leisure Pool, Waterslide, Steam Room, Dry Sauna, Hot Tub, Fully Equipped Weight Room, Fitness Studio, 2 Full Size Arenas, Leisure Ice, Meeting Rooms, and Concession and Vending machines.
