We are Sisters of St. Paul, a missionary Congregation, founded in 1696, by Fr. Louis Chauvet, parish priest of Levesville-la-Chenard, a little village in the region of Beauce, some 80 kilometers southeast of Paris.
Holy Trinity Parish of Gatineau was born from the merger of three former parishes: St. Jean-Marie Vianney , St. Maria Goretti and Saint-René-Goupil . It was founded January 1, 2008 by order of Bishop Roger Ébacher . Geographically, it is located in neighborhoods with many faces. On the one hand, both parties in the south and north of the railroad tracks, one extending to the Ottawa River, the other up to the boulevard of La Verendrye. These two parts are formed mainly of older families. It has a relatively high number of homes for the elderly, particularly in the southern part. These are the oldest parts of the first Gatineau whose center is on the side of Notre Dame and the former Bowater paper mill. In recent years, there are a few young families.
