The Creston Curling Centre is always looking for new curlers. Whether you are new to the game or a novice curler, come on out and have some fun! We have approximately 240 active members and our season begins Tuesday, October 11th and runs until the third week of March. We host two major bonspiels – Ladies Valenties Bonspiel in February and the Men's Butterfly Bonspiel held in early March.

Considered to be the hidden gem of the Kootenays, Cranbrook Golf Club is member club that is also open to the public. Play a round on our picturesque 18-hole championship course or perfect your stroke on our practice greens and all-weather driving range. The Western Hockey League started with just seven teams based in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta in 1966. The WHL now has representation in all four Western Canadian provinces and the U.S. states of Oregon and Washington. With the addition of the Edmonton Oil Kings for the 2007-08 season, the WHL now consists of 22 member Clubs with 17 based in Canadian markets and 5 in the U.S. Pacific Northwest.
