Tsayta is a long established British Columbia air carrier serving the tourism and resource sectors in northern British Columbia. Formed in 1983 at a base in Fort St. James, B.C., the company now operates six piston and turbine engine aircraft from operational bases at Fort St. James, Smithers, Dease Lake, and Telegraph Creek. The Nisga'a Final Agreement is British Columbia's first modern treaty. It recognizes Nisga'a Lands and opens the door for joint economic initiatives in the development of the Nisga'a Nation's natural resources.
