Our members can provide all types of Harvesting styles and types from Selective logging to Clearcut logging as well as operating in both Deciduous and Conifer stands. Our Manufacturers mill raw logs into all forms of timber such as 6 inch by 6 inch squares to 3 inch by 10 inch planking for bridge decks. EDFOR Coop retains the services of a Forester to guide the members in compliance with Provincial rules and regulation as well as manage the business of the Cooperative, in addition to this the office is maintained with a dedicated Administration Assistant three days per week from Tuesday through Thursday. Pembina West Co-op is proudly owned by Co-op members who live in Barrhead, Mayerthorpe, Whitecourt and many surrounding communities. Co-op has three cardlock locations, two grocery stores, a pharmacy, a full service gas bar and convenience store, a car wash, a home and farm centre, a lumber yard, a liquor store, and offers delivery of bulk fuel, lubes and oils to service the agriculture and commercial industries in the region. Because Co-op is owned my its members, members share in the profits.
