The Quinte Ballet School of Canada is the fifth largest professional ballet training facility in Canada. Located in Belleville, QBSC is the premiere dance facility in Eastern Ontario and draws students from the local area as well as nationally and internationally. The school is housed in a fully-equipped, 20,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art facility that features six large studios. Our Professional Training Program (PTP) is designed for aspiring young dancers between the ages of 10 and 20. The program offers innovative training, exposure to the art form and support to become a professional dance artist. The PTP curriculum focuses on building a sound ballet technique, while exposing students to a variety of other dance styles to ensure versatility.
Born and raised in the Collingwood area Elizabeth started her journey in dance at the tender age of 3. Following her dreams Elizabeth trainedin ballet and jazz for 15 years as an accomplished dancer and performer under the instruction of Jane wooding and Sharron Williams Fleet. Her training also included Scottish and folk with Lois Musselman.In 1998 Elizabeth went on to study ballet, modern, jazz and dance pedagogy at George Brown College in Toronto where she graduated with a diploma in dance foundation. She returned to teach full time at Fleet-Wood Dancentre in Collingwood and implemented a modern program. Miss. Liz holds her Intermediate Certificate in Cecchetti ballet. She is known for her emotionalchoreography as showcased in many Fleet-Wood Recitals and Galas. She is also known for her passionate work with children and inspiration of many new dancers.Miss Liz teaches all levels of classes in addition to training for the pre-professionalballet and modern programs at Fleet-Wood Dancentre.
