The Academy of Classical Ballet & Modern Dances offers a wide variety of dance classes for all ages and skill levels. As a dance school we welcome all new experienced and inexperienced dancers to come and discover their passion for dance. Classes begin in September, January, and March with an end of the year recital at the Capitol Theatre in June. As a dance school for those who love music and dance, we strive for excellence in technique and positive attitudes. We emphasize the development of the creative spirit, strong work ethic, as well as a positive body image in a professional family atmosphere. All of this is ensured by our commitment to offering individual attention to each of our dancers. Our mission is our students! Dare to dream. Danceability, established in 1998, is under the direction of Anne Stephen, along with her creative staff, Heather Stephen, Jaime Wilson, Karla Renouf, Kathleen McLeod, Vanessa Trindade, Tori George, Raylene Rice, Amanda Verner and Kieran Fitzpatrick. We take great pride in teaching the art and love of dance to students of all ages, 3 - Adult.
Classes are available in various genres such as Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, Hip Hop and Acro. Most classes are held in Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, recreational & competitive.
Specialty programs offered, Mommy & Me, Latin/Salsa with Silvia Carreira and drop in Zumba with Tammy Moore.
