Our roots in this community are deep and the needs of our clients are varied and ever-changing. Cabin Fever Interiors was established by Lynn Gentile a graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical University in Toronto. Lynn received a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design in 1988. Professionally, she has practiced Interior Design in Canada and abroad.The appeal of the west coast and healthy mountain lifestyle of British Columbia drew Lynn away from the busy city life of Toronto and her position as Senior Project Designer with Canada's premier design firm, Yabu Pushelberg. Lynn has been involved in design since her arrival in Whistler in 1996, working on interiors, as well as a line of home accessories marketed throughout Canada and the United States.The inspiration for the design of our interiors is often derived from nature. Nature provides the basic foundation for all design and is reflected in the palettes, patterns and textures seen in our modern world. Cabin Fever Interiors create tasteful and timeless interiors working with natural and man made materials and a combination of design styles determined by the needs of our clients, the parameters of the space and budget.

The sports centre was built in 1993 and ever since has been a popular attraction for locals and visitors alike. The centre includes an NHL-sized ice arena, a 4,500-square-foot fitness centre, fitness studio, 2 squash courts, a 25-metre swimming pool, leisure pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. The swimming pool and fitness area are open daily from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. and drop-in rates are reasonable. The fitness area includes a full selection of free-weights, plate-loaded machines and Cybex machines. The cardio room is home to treadmills, stair climbers, eliptical trainers and stationary bikes. Aerobics and boxing classes are also available.

?Growing our Thérroir TisanesWe hand blend premium loose leaf Thérroir teas with our foraged botanicals and herbs grown organically by Local Farmers. As we focus on TeaCrafting and Foraging we will be partnering with new Local Farmers to grow our unique botanicals for the 2015 season. Fresh farm grown botanicals handharvested at the peak of freshness, taste and potency is our secret to avoid TeaCrafting any Teas with natural flavorings. The herbals we grow and craft still contain their own true, precious aromatics preserved through our special Whole storage method. Fresh milling each blend to order, delivered fresh each week and served fresh to Tea Lovers is our Craft.We grow new varietals, push their hardiness and develop them in the Squamsih zone as possible new additions to our organic Thérroir Tisanes selection. Some like our Tea plants of Camellia sinensis and Lemon Verbena overwinter indoors while other native pioneer plants are slowly progressing into future options for limited edition Tisanes for the farm.Off the beaten Path growing also involves weeding the farm for the wonderful nourishing weeds that love the spead all around us like Yellow Dock, Marshmallow, Sorrel, Dandelion, Burdock, Nettles and so many nourishing allies that can be persistent in wanting to be added to our cups.

The Squamish Hospice Society is a non-profit community service designed to support end of life care for patients and their families. Our team of volunteers include a ministerial liaison, physician liaison, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, social worker, massage therapist, reflexologist, ombudsman and visiting volunteers dedicated to providing expertise, compassion and understanding in the last days, weeks, months and even years of life. All our help is provided on a voluntary basis and there is absolutely no cost involved. The Whistler Arts Council (WAC) is a registered charity established in 1982 with a mandate to build and integrate the arts into the fabric of the community of the Resort Municipality of Whistler and surrounding areas. Annual events and programs include: Whistler Winter Arts Festival, Out of Bounds: Tales from the Backcountry, ArtWalk, Whistler Children's Art Festival, Whistler Art Workshops on the Lake, ARTrageous, Bizarre Bazaar, Whistler Street Entertainment and an annual Performance Series. WAC provides the annual Student Art Awards and Bursaries, an annual Artist Award of Excellence, Member Group Grants, resources, and information to artists, the community and outside organizations.
