BCAA helped connect me with Cody at Western Auto Wreckers & Towing for a tow out of a ditch on a forest service road. They went out of their way, literally out of their catchment, to help when others couldn't. Cody had exceptional communication skills and worked with me to coordinate details. Wow!!! Incredible selection!!! The staff are extremely knowledgeable too. I really enjoyed shopping today. I got most of my shopping done in one store! They have a great return policy which is important to me. (They give you 30 days after Christmas to get a full money refund or to do an exchange which is great when you are buying for others). Im a happy local shopper that will be back next time for sure. Awesome store! :)

Kirby is the owner of both the Fruitvale & Castlegar Valhalla Physio locations. Originally from Saskatchewan he graduated university in 1994 with a degree in physical therapy and moved to the West Kootenays in 2003 where he bought Valhalla. First and foremost Kirby considers himself a sport therapist and has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of the injured athlete. He has worked with athletes in a variety of sports but has a special passion for hockey. He has worked with hockey players from novice to professional, including members of Canada's Olympic Teams and several NHL players. Kirby is also certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and uses a variety of needle techniques to complement his Physiotherapy practice.
