WorkBC Centre Port Alberni provides free assistance and support for job seekers and employers in the Alberni Valley and surrounding communities. We are located in Port Alberni’s uptown area next to Service Canada at 4th Avenue and Mar Street.
In our self-serve resource area you can update your resume, apply for jobs online, or use our printer, photocopier or fax machine. There are also available job search and job start supports for eligible unemployed clients who need help looking for work or to get started in a new job.

Depending on eligibility, these include one-on-one employment counselling, group workshops, training supports, skills assessments, wage subsidy, self-employment services, and customized job placement.
