Belmont Golf Course has thrice hosted the Canadian Tour's Spring Qualifying School. There's a reason the event has returned to this Les Furber, GDS designed golf course - it's one of the best in the Lower Mainland. The full length championship course, which opened in 1992, features six par threes and four sets of tees, making it perfect for golfers of all skill and experience levels. As evidenced by the Canadian Tour's Spring Qualifying School use, Belmont is a popular British Columbia golf course for tournaments. Belmont was selected to host the Canadian Tour's Spring Qualifying School from 2005 to 2007. The 2005 medalist was Will Yanagisawa. In 2006 Chang Hong from Korea was the medalist by a record-breaking 10 strokes. In 2007 seven Canadians were among the 16 players to earn cards Friday as the Canadian Tour's Spring Qualifying School wrapped up in B.C.

The PGA Tour stopped in Surrey for 7 years, ending in 2002, but not before providing all of us with the thrills and memories of playing host to some of the games greatest players. Opened in 1959 on land that was once occupied by a hazelnut farm, Meridian Golf Par 3 is a family run golf course in beautiful Surrey. As far as par 3 courses go, Meridian is more challenging than most. The large trees, creek and hilly terrain conspire to make most holes play tight, with many hidden shots to be made throughout the course. Evidence of the old nut farm can still be witnessed near the 9th tee where a nut house (used for cracking the hazelnuts) still stands. Come see our scenic and challenging terrain in person!
