Heli Explore inc. began it's operations in December 2005 in North-Bay, Ontario. After a few months of preparation, our first helicopter, a Eurocopter Astar 350BA+, was leased for a one year period. In the spring of 2006, Heli Explore inc. was awarded its first contract. The compagny was hired to support goose hunting in Moosonee, Ontario. Immediately after the completion of this contract, the aircraft went to Victoria Island, in the Arctic, to carry out a mining drill program for a few weeks. A third contract was awarded to the company from Miramar Mining to provide mining and drill support for three months.
