L’histoire de succès débuta en 1996, au cœur du Vieux-Montréal quand Jean-Guy Daneau et sa conjointe Sonia Rémy eurent l’idée de transformer leur boutique de linge, qui avait pignon sur rue depuis plus de 20 ans, en crêperie.
La petite crêperie qui portait, à l’époque, le nom de crêperie du Vieux-Montreal et qui offrait seulement 20 sièges a fait littéralement fureur. À un tel point que les files de clients s’allongeaient chaque jour devant le restaurant. Les tout nouveaux restaurateurs étaient éblouis par le succès de leur nouvelle entreprise.
