After changes in government services to the local agricultural industry in the year 2000, the need for a support system for agricultural organizations and the farming community became apparent. With the aide of local agricultural organizations, individual farmers, and Grey County Council, Grey Ag Services, a 'grass-roots', 'farmer-driven' initiative, 'not-for–profit' organization was created to service and fulfill the needs of the local farm community.

After running heavy equipment for large telecom companies, Ian decided to branch out on his own, starting K.I. Contracting in 2002.After K.I. Contracting was up and running they expanded into many different fields, some of which include: licensed septic design and installation, licensed geothermal loop installations, trenching, excavations, landscaping and trucking. In the last 10 years the fleet has grown bigger every day!

At the Women’s Centre in Owen Sound, we are leader in providing shelter, crisis intervention, safety planning, counselling and transition services. For women and children affected by abuse in Grey and Bruce Counties, our community will recognize and work to eliminate abuse and violence.
