The Comox Physiotherapy Clinic opened September 1992 at its present location on Comox Avenue. It is very spacious with individual cubicles for treatment and an open exercies area. At present, there are 2 registered physiotherapists; owner Linda Maasz was joined by Shannon Martens in 1998. We treat a wide variety of physical problems resulting from motor vehicle accidents, on-the-job accidents, and sports participation as well as injuries sustained from gardening, falling, overuse and exercise.
Family owned and operated, a fresh approach to physiotherapy: assessing and treating only one client at a time in order to provide the most comprehensive service possible. We believe in using an evidence based approach to help our clients take control of their own recovery and learn how to prevent future injury. We love to play in our Comox Valley backyard and want you to get back to doing what you love too.
If you've been injured, first and foremost on your mind is pain relief. Then of course you would like to get back to work and/or play as soon as possible. Many injuries and conditions when seen as soon as possible respond much more quickly to treatment than if left alone to the "wait and see" approach. Faster healing is possible due to a partnership between physiotherapist. Achieve Physio's pricing is the most affordable in the Comox Valley because we know you need good care to be within your budget. Treatment that gets results and service that is professional and friendly, not clinical. Contact the clinic with your questions or to make an appointment. No referral necessary.
Active Living Physiotherapy provides personalized, one-on-one physiotherapy services, including assessments and treatments for various conditions, while promoting patient education and empowerment in a client-centered environment.
