We have four public access computer stations which can be booked as you walk in or one day in advance. We offer free computer and internet access as well as wifi services. Children under 18 are required to have their parent or guardian sign the Computer Access Agreement. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult while using the computer.
RRS's primary fundraiser is making perishke to sell at the annual Christmas Farmers Market on the last Friday in November, at the Radway Agricentre. This fundraiser, and the coffee corner, helps purchase items for the library and 'Radway Library' mini calendars, which are handed out at the market and passed out to customers at the post office and the library each year.
The Barrhead Library started as a community library in December of 1950 with a $200 donation from the estate of homesteader Jack McKerracher and additional government grants. Over the years the library has been moved to various locations, always within the school grounds.
Sangudo Public Library is a member of Yellowhead Regional Library. Sangudo Public Library is also a member of The Regional Automation Consortium (TRAC) and of The Alberta Library (TAL). Our participation in The Alberta Library gives our patrons access to 15 million items in over 230 Alberta libraries.
