OLS-North is one of two agencies which support the development of public libraries across Ontario. In the North there are approximately 121 public libraries representing Cities, Towns, Townships, Local Service Boards, First Nation Communities and Fly In Communities over a vast geographic area.  We endeavour to assist and provide services to encourage library development in some of Northern Ontario's most remote locations.

One would be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful setting for a town anywhere.  Anyone who has the fortitude to make the arduous climb to the top of the cliffs overlooking the town will tell you it is well-worth the climb to see the magnificent view of the Bay with the islands in the distance

Superior-Greenstone District School Board is located in Northwestern Ontario and covers a vast area of 45,100 square kilometres.
