Been going to this location for years and have always gotten great customer service from all the staff. They're very helpful and will take the time to help you if one of your favorite products are sold out and you need a substitute that's similar. Really nice owner who cares about her customers.

Pharmacy staff are very caring and provide good advice when asked. Staffing often causes problems...too few people on Pharmacy desk. But the staff that are on duty are wonderful!

I was compelled to write something.
We pop into this cafe about 3 times a month.. We love that it is local, friendly, and food is always fresh. In all the times we've visited I think we've not liked one item, and although it was personal preference the cafe still let us select something else with no extra charge. Staff were very eager to make all of us happy with our meals.
I couldn't believe someone said it was dirty and tired because it is far from it. It's always spotless. I'm truely shocked. I suppose that is why most people don't care about reviews.
OUr family recommends this place for lunch and dinner any day of the week!! I know they serve brunch but we don't usually go out for that meal so i cannot comment.

If you only have a one hour lunch then this is definitely NOT the place for you to eat at that time.
We arrived and it was busy. The place seems cramped but it appearred to be clean. We had reserved a table for noon and waited a while to get seated. When the waitress finally made it to our table we ordered drinks and our food at the same time. It took a long time just to get our drinks and a very long time for our food. It ended up being an hour and a half lunch. Most other restaurants in the area offer a quick lunch so people can get back to work in a timely fashion. This is where The Wood falls drastically short.
The food was good, this I will not dispute. By burger was juicy and cooked perfectly and the salad with balsamic dressing was fresh and nice also. Unfortunately the speed of service will have to keep me away from this restaurant.

On Wednesdays Montana's has an "all you can eat beef rib night", its worth the trip and go there hungry. They have 2 choices of beef ribs "back" or "side" ribs, back ribs are more tender and have more meat on them. Its a fantastic meal and very delicious, I find myself dreaming of those ribs the rest of the week. Sadly they do not offer the same meal any other night of the week, its a one night only affair, the rest of the week they offer only a pork bone substitute for "Ribs" which is not at all like on rib night. Another annoying thing is you cannot switch rib type once you start so choose carefully. I know they have Rib night in several other Montana's restaurants in the Ottawa area on the same night but I don't know if it's chain wide, check with your local restaurant. The Wednesday night beef ribs are the best I've ever had.
