The Annapolis basin is part of the Bay of Fundy which is home to some of the highest tides in the world and was a finalist to be named one of the new "Wonders of the Natural World".
The main house was built in 1904 for prominent, local businessman J. L. Peters. It retains the rich detailing of the period, and all three of its guest rooms are furnished in keeping with the period. Come from Away Inn is a lovely "Turn of the Century" Edwardian Home on the Harbour, with breathtaking views of the Annapolis Basin, and the World famous Digby Scallop Fleet. Every day you can watch as our world famous High Tides fill the Annapolis Basin, then recede.
All six rooms in our Waterfront Suites, were built in 1996 and have exterior views of Digby Harbour, and its famous Scallop Fleet. We offer a total of ten gracious rooms.
