Manotick Tree Movers Inc. began as a registered partnership in 1991 (incorporated in 1996) by Ralph Sikkema and Fred Stevens. In 2011 Ken Stevens, Fred’s son, bought Ralph’s shares. Our early beginnings of relocating trees with a single tree spade has evolved to now include a complete range of the most progressive tree moving equipment available. Our tree spades sizes 38" through 90" are capable of digging and relocating trees up to 9" caliper size, including evergreens up to 600 cm (20 feet) tall. We have always taken much pride in personally selecting and sourcing the finest quality seedlings and liners to grow and develop at our 55 acre farm at Carsonby.
