Dancing Bugs, Ringmasters and Snobby.Pears are just a few of the fascinating characters unveiled in the power of storytelling in our lessons. Each well-known piece comfortably draws children into the intriguing world of classical music as they quickly embrace drama, song, movement, instrumental play and art.
Artistic Director and Instructor, Jill Tunbridge began Spanish dancing at an early age in Cape Town. At 19, she studied in Toronto for four years and in 1994 she moved to Vancouver, continuing her pursuit of Flamenco. In 2000, she began to share her passion by starting a beginner class in White Rock. She continues to promote this amazing, electrifying dance.
Our social classes are designed for any beginner who has always wanted to learn to dance. We make our classes fun and easy, while still imparting the correct technique and style. Our specialty is in the "Rhythm and Smooth" dances which include: Rumba, Cha Cha, Salsa/Mambo, Merengue, Samba, Bolero, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Night Club 2 Step, Foxtrot, Tango, Slow Waltz and Viennese Waltz. Absolutely no experience is necessary, and we will provide partners by balancing the classes between leaders and followers. You will be dancing after the very first night! Some dance to remember, some dance to forget.
