Along with her highly successful years as a music specialist with the Calgary Board of Education, she has started her home studio in Bracebridge “Inspiring Sounds Music Studio” after she moved to Muskoka in 2004 where she offers Piano, Vocal, Theory and Music Theatre classes. Her piano and singing students won numerous awards at the local and provincial levels. Many of her students achieved very high standards with Royal Conservatory Exams.

Benjamin Simon began teaching the guitar at the young age of 13, where the majority of his students were actually older than he was. Both of his parents were teachers, and he was clearly destined to be an educator (even winning the “Education Award [O.E.C.T.A] and the Suzanne Grodin Music Award” at Holy Trinity Catholic High School). Throughout his high school years, Ben taught as a way to save up for his university education, eventually going on to get a degree from Trent University.

The Piano Music Studio is a private institution where I give my students the opportunity to learn precisely and properly how to play the piano. My students always strive for excellence in a comforting, encouraging and caring atmosphere that was passed down to me, from my teachers. My registration with the ORMTA (Ontario Registered Music Teacher's Association) gives me an active member title, which allows me to do what is listed bellow. My program comes straight from the Royal Conservatory of Music, recognized as one of the best music programs ever established. Older students take part in RCM exams, while younger students take part in House exams.
