Welcome to Studio Visconte! I have been teaching music for twenty years now, and my teaching style is distinct in that I adjust my approach to the unique needs of each student. I believe that learning music can be more than just reading notes on a page and taking exams; I believe in nurturing each student's innate musical ability and helping them to express it in their own way. I hope to instill in them a life long appreciation for music.

Having completed his grade 9 RCM examination on the piano and his grade 10 Cello examination in high school, Benjamin went to Memorial University of Newfoundland where he completed a bachelors degree in music. Finding increased passion in the field of music education Benjamin continued to further his studies in music education by completing an Education degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton. He now resides in South West Edmonton where he currently teaches, violin, cello, piano, trumpet, flute, guitar, mandolin, accordion, and bass.
