On May 13,2013 we had occasion to visit the Credit Union in Cabri. We were making a trip from our home in Ont. to Vancouver. Along the way we were searching out history from my husband's parents. My husbands parents had lived in Cabri many years ago.
We went into the Credit Union and met the working staff, one in particular Norma Pederson who so generously gave us information relating to those times. I can not thank her enough as this made my husband very happy as he tried to relate to those long ago times.
Then entire staff was so very friendly that I felt I had to acknowledge them in some way. With staff such as these I can only say you are highly honoured.
They graciously gave us a desk calendar which sat on our desk and each time we looked at it precious times came back to mind.
Just want to say thank you and the friendliness shown to strangers will remain with us forever.

Garden of Eden Greenhouse & Gifts was established in March of 2012. Construction of the facility was completed in November 2013 and we opened for business for the 2013 Christmas season.
We currently have one greenhouse with 2160 square feet of heated indoor growing space and one greenhouse with 400 of cold growing space which houses our perennials, trees and shrubs. The main building also includes a gift shop. There is lots of parking and a playground which is available for the kids free of charge.

We carry a large and varied assortment of bedding plant annual flowers, vegetables, herbs, perennials, trees, shrubs, gardening supplies, unique giftware and one of a kind handmade crafts from local artisans. We are also open during the Christmas season and supply poinsettia’s, Christmas trees and live greens, Christmas décor and a large selection of giftware.
We have 160 feet of power rodder to clear you sewer lines of roots and debris. Over 200 successful drain clears means we know our skill well. 125 feet of cable camera allows us to inspect your drain and pinpoint the intrusion areas and ensure your drain is clear once more!
Come enjoy a savory dish at Conway's Restaurant. They are open at night all week and are conveniently reachable by car and public transit. The neighboring location is memorable for its parks.
One of the first things you need to know about Cabri is how to say the name. It's pronounced Kay' bree (with the accent on the first syllable). According to folklore, the name originated from the early explorers' pronunciation of an aboriginal word for antelope. Recent research indicates it may have been derived from the Latin name for the pronghorn (Antilocapridae). An e-mail recently received from Laval University in Quebec suggests that the Voyageurs and the French Metis thought the animal looked a bit like a goat and ''cabri'' is the French-Provincial word for goat.
