Most of us live in a fast-paced, multi-faceted reality and I believe that a peaceful and welcoming environment sets the tone for better treatment outcomes as you begin to shed the cares of the outer world from the moment you enter. I chose the name Modalities, which means "ways of doing things", because I believe in a multi-disciplinary approach to wellness. In my massage practice I apply several different techniques, tailoring your care to your issues and your body. I have additional training in facial release that has led me to much work with individuals after surgery and injury to release scar tissue and restore function. I do deep tissue massage and muscle energy release work in addition to connective tissue release to relieve pain and help speed recovery. Whether you are looking for ongoing care to improve your current well-being or needing to return to "normal" after an injury other difficulty I can assist you in meeting your goals.
