Since 2001, we’ve been proud to support the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) by building and designing the grand prize — the Minto Dream Home. We pride ourselves on our commitment to community, while constantly striving to build strong, healthy communities for the people who live in them. Usable, public green spaces, convenient proximity to schools and amenities, and initiatives such as the Minto Recreation Complex are just a few things that we’ve done to build communities for people first. For us, our partnership with the CHEO Foundation is just a logical extension of that commitment. Every year is an opportunity for us to push the boundaries on innovative home building and design, and create something truly inspirational — and this year is no different. In the culmination of significant research and development, for the first time ever, this year’s Minto Dream Home is a Net Zero Energy home. We’re absolutely thrilled to partner with CHEO for the Dream of a Lifetime Lottery to affect positive change within our community, and we hope this partnership continues for many years to come.

We have two locations in Stittsville for Physiotherapy and Registered Therapy. We do not use aides or assistants and spend one-on-one time with our clients for 30 to 60 minutes. We have no waiting list and are opens on Saturdays as well. Sports injuries, general body aches and pains, work place injuries and motor vehicle accident clients are just a few of the things we treat.

As a family systems therapist, my passion is to walk with people on their journey towards a life that is rich and meaningful. Community Care Durham (CCD), established in 1977, is a multi-service registered charitable organization. We provide Home Support, Respite (Caregiver Relief) and COPE Mental Health services for adults and their caregivers who have needs related to aging, physical and/or mental health. Our services are provided free of charge or for a minimal fee and are administered through various service locations across Durham Region.
