This small but lively private school is an excellent option in the Leeds and Grenville area for parents who are looking for an alternative to the public schools. The staff are kind, caring and compassionate and make sure that your child is treated as an individual. I cannot recommend this school enough. DSLG Developmental Services of Leeds and Grenville (D.S.L.G.) is a nonprofit, Charitable Corporation providing services and supports in the field of developmental disabilities.The Corporation was incorporated in May 1983 and began providing services in July 1983 under the name Brockville and Area Centre for Developmentally Handicapped Persons Inc. (B.A.C.D.H.P. Inc.). The development of the community based Corporation was the result of the closure of St. Lawrence Regional Centre, a Schedule I institution which provided service to developmentally disabled persons. St. Lawrence Regional Centres closure was the first step in Ontario moving from institutional care to community care. As with any firsts there were many challenges in the early years.Today our caseload includes both children and adults.

Timothy Christian School is an independent elementary school that educates children through Christ- centred quality programs that combine faith and learning. Timothy Christian School works with Christian families to help children connect learning with their growing faith. Our qualified teachers are chosen on the basis of their academic training, teaching experience, and spiritual maturity. Even though English is the main language of instruction, we are helping our students achieve levels of fluency comparable to French immersion with only core French. Education, with emphasis on the 'Basics', takes place in self-contained classrooms in a fairly structured and well-disciplined atmosphere. Currently, there are 60 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 who get to explore God's world and his Word in our school.
