The Nanaimo Gymnastics School is a not-for-profit society dedicated to foster, improve and encourage amateur gymnastics, sportsmanship and good citizenship. Our mission is to develop an effective gymnastics program, that which maximizes skill acquisition in a safe and structured environment. Our coaches are certified under the National Coaching Certification Program and pursue other educational opportunities to become the best gymnastics coaches they can be. We welcome athletes ages 18 months to adulthood and have various programs to choose from, from drop-in to preschool and recreational structured classes, from birthday parties to a highly successful competitive program in the disciplines of Women's Artistic Gymnastics and Trampoline & Tumbling.

Parksville Ballet School is located in beautiful Parksville, British Columbia on central Vancouver Island. It has been in operation since 1973 and continues to provide excellent dance training to local students. It may look small from the outside, but inside you'll find 4 spacious studios, a large dressing room, bathrooms, office, costume room and waiting area. PBS offers 3 styles of dance training for ages 3 and up. A Kinder Program, a General Program and a Performing Arts Program. Classes include Cecchetti Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Modern. Our facility is also rented to others who provide Ballroom, Latin Dance, Belly Dance and Aerobics.

Outsider Adventures is an independently owned sports store that has offered clothing, footwear and accessories for travel, sport and outdoor recreation since 1998. Phil brings more than fifteen years of professional experience as an outdoor educator and fitness instructor to each of his clients. Phil became a certified personal trainer after a life-changing car accident forced him to rebuild his strength and motivation with the help of rehabilitation therapists. Now, having been through his own rehabilitation journey, Phil enables his clients to find the patience, perseverance and determination they need to make positive fitness and lifestyle changes. Phil specializes in working with people who require customized fitness training. His specialty client groups include people living with chronic illness such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease. Phil also works with people who are new to exercise and struggling to find the motivation to commit to their personal fitness goals. Being a person who enjoys participating in, and learning new sports, Phil works with many people training to improve at their specific sport, such as tennis, golf and running. Phil's philosophy is that fitness training can invigorate and enhance all aspects of life for everyone, regardless of their current condition, and that it's always the right time to start training!
