My wife saw the restaurant while driving through New Glasgow. We decided to try it for dinner as it seemed to offer something a little different. The restaurant is a converted Victorian style home. The restaurant was almost full when we got there so we knew this was a good sign. I ordered the Smoked salmon appetizer ($10) and got three heatlhy portions of salmon on potato pancakes. My wife ordered a nice looking salad. Since the restaurant is German, we opted for the Bavarian mushroom schnitzel, breaded pork loin with a mushroom
Crème sauce served with spaetzle ($22). The schnitzels were cooked perfectly and the portions were very generous. We paired the entrees with a nice pinot noir from New Zealand. The wine list had a good selection of wines of different price ranges. The ambience was wonderful. We did not feel rushed, nor did it take forever to get the food. The staff were attentive and we really enjoyed the experience...can't wait to get back here again.

For over a month now the coffee grinder machine has been out of order. I use Pride of Arabia Coffee which is a whole bean coffee that must be ground. A few days ago I noticed all the whole bean coffees were on sale which is nice but how to we grind it for our home coffee machines? Your attention to this matter would be appreciated soon as we are desperate for our fresh whole bean coffee to be ground for our home use. Please take this complaint seriously or we will be forced to shop elsewhere
