Where Wood Meets Machine - I started this business because of my passion for creating things with wood. The CNC aspect was the way I could see my creative side come to life. I love working with wood; its feel, the smell and the ability to change it into what I want to design.
My experience began many years ago in the renovation business…and of course wood is the starting point. Always with a tight budget, I started making personal gifts for family and friends, which gave me the starting point and passion for this new business venture.

After moving to Canada she attended George Brown College and graduated with a diploma in sign making.Jackie opened her first sign business in 1983, and in 2000 it evolved into Saugeen Signworks.
