Health Network Society's purpose is to promote and enhance senior's wellness through information and referral, education and social programs on the Westside and in the Peachland area. The Network provides a variety of programs and services for community members through the help of trained volunteers. Challenge Labels began operations in Kelowna, BC in 1991, from a staff of one and a primitive "sticker" press. Since then, it has grown into a modern facility with its own art department that makes all of its own plates, and runs two to eight colour presses from facilities ten times the size of the original. In 2009, Challenge Labels became ISO 9001 Certified, a premier label production facility in North America, and represents a significant portion of the flexographic label production in Western Canada. Kate Shevkenek B.A., M.A, has a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. She also has a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology, with Honours, from the University of British Columbia Okanagan. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Kate is also a member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. In dealing with the public, Kate has responsibly acquired insurance coverage and Hard Knox Counselling fees are covered by some extended medical plans. Kate is considered a traumatologist; trained and specializes in a breakthrough therapy called EMDR. She is also trained in REBT (Rational-Emotive Behaviour) and the Gottman method.
