After providing counselling services for over 15 years Lori Gill, founder of ATTCH, has observed a consistent need for attachment and trauma-focused therapy. Trauma impacts all areas, and often surfaces in addictions, mental health, and other counselling areas. In spite of this obvious need there remains a considerable shortage of qualified therapists trained in evidence-based trauma intervention offering this service. As a result of this need Lori became a certified trauma specialist and trainer through the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children and is determined to create a business to meet this need within our community.

The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) was established on April 30, 1959 under the Conservation Authorities Act, and serves approximately half a million people in an area known as the Niagara Peninsula Watershed which encompasses all of the Niagara Region and portions of the City of Hamilton and Haldimand County. At its advent, the driving force behind the Conservation Authority movement was its grassroots land stewardship and water protection programs. Today, this vital commitment continues as we strive to manage the impact of human activities, urban growth and rural activities on the watershed.
