Le's Academy is an after school learning center. We are not just tutors, we are here to teach!Our vision is to provide quality education at an affordable rate to students from Kindergarten to First Year University in core subjects (Math, Sciences, English, Spanish, French & languages). We are an organization with 28 years of international experience in assisting students of all levels of ability from Kindergarten to University / College entrance level in Mathematics and English and from Grade 9 to University / College entrance level in Science (Chemistry and Physics). Furthermore, we offer a Li'l Learners program for students from 4 - 6 years old. We also support online High School credit courses with Canada e-School. The audio and visual product used by the Academy has been developed for over 28 years. The product has been constantly improved and expanded. At the Rockwood Mall centre, we have been assisting a wide variety of students for over 13 years. By helping students excel as learners, we ensure that individuals gain confidence and develop skills to succeed at home, school and their future careers. In order to prepare students for everyday challenges, it is essential that problem areas receive prompt attention. Our highly qualified tutors are keen observers who can determine and understand the existence of these problem areas and assist students to decrease learning gaps promptly. If students do not understand basic concepts in early grades, gaps widen very quickly and they lose their interest and confidence. Students work at their own pace and space in a supportive, understanding and positive environment. This strategy reduces peer pressure and other learning barriers. Also, at our centre, students learn by using three senses: reading, writing, and listening. By using these senses, students will be able to retain far more information than using one sense at a time. This will help students recall the information more readily when needed. Also, with our unique program, students can listen and/or read a topic as many times as needed to achieve a 100% understanding of it. Our highly qualified tutors assist students with problems or questions and provide further assistance to ensure understanding at all times. We track our student's progress through a detailed progress report which is completed at the end of each lesson. We welcome our parents to come in and discuss their student's progress with us at any time! At our Rockwood Mall centre, we promote a positive and supportive environment.Students are welcome to participate in different contests.
