F.R. Haythorne is a beautiful, well resourced urban junior high school (grades 7-9) of approximately 700 students. We are located in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada - a suburban community just east of Edmonton, Alberta's capital city.

To provide a supportive environment and a comprehensive education developing adaptable, responsible learners, who are capable of meeting the opportunities of a changing world.

Mills Haven Elementary School opened in September of 1971, and has 490 students enrolled in classes from Kindergarten to Grade 6. In addition to the regular program, Mills Haven has a German Bilingual program in which students study German during part of their class time. Mills Haven School has two very active parent/staff groups, the German Bilingual Association (for the German Bilingual program) and the Mills Haven School Council.
