While I worked in the helping field since the mid-eighties, my work as a professional therapist began in 2000, after I graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) at UBC. The people I work with face one or more of the following concerns: anxiety; depression; couple or family issues; grief and loss; low self esteem; residential school; school or workplace concerns; stress and burnout; trauma (PTSD). Christine Beere graduated from UBC in 1995 with her degree in Human Kinetics (Exercise Physiology) and from WCCMT in 1997. For the last 22 years she has effectively treated neck and upper back tension and pain, low back pain, headaches and migraines, shoulder impingement, sports injuries and injury prevention. Specializing in acute and chronic pain management, Christine uses various techniques including active release, deep tissue, cranial sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, trigger point therapy and joint mobilization.
