Our Celtic dance classes (for all ages) are designed to improve fitness and well-being. Learn Highland and Irish dancing - and their traditions. At Acclaim Celtic Dancers, we are dedicated to celebrating the joy of Celtic (Irish and Highland dance). Our studios are a welcoming and inclusive community where dancers of all levels can come together to learn, grow and perform. Our experienced instructors are passionate about sharing their love of Celtic dance with others. Whether you are looking to get in touch with your roots, have fun with friends, or improve your fitness and well-being, learning Celtic dance is a rewarding and enjoyable experience that we invite you to discover. It is our great privilege to get you started on your lifelong journey and love for dance.

For those who have not yet been able to visit the studio, we are a professional dance instruction studio offering lessons in ballet, pointe, modern, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, musical theatre, stretch and strength, Pilates, flamenco, and belly dancing. Our teachers are certified by the Royal Academy of Dance, the Canadian Dance Teachers Association, and/or the British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association. Our studio is located in downtown Nanaimo in a heritage building. We have three large studios including a grand ballroom, a comfortable lobby for our student's parents, many change rooms, and a homework area for our older students. Nanaimo's Neighbourhood Church and Pastor James Toews offers a loving and welcoming space for worship. Our adult, youth and children's ministries allows for everyone in your family, young and old, to come and be guided through their religious journey.
