The menu is not extensive and there was no overall 'theme' but the food we had was pretty good. They recommended a great wine and the waitress was excellent - both friendly and helpful.
We booked at the last minute and were glad we did. Not a fine dining experience if that is what you want but a comfortable experience. We split a salad and the entree portions were a good size. My husband had a Thai noodle type dish and he really enjoyed it. I had the prime rib which came as I requested. We didn't have dessert but marvelled at a couple of plates that went by.

Originally built in 1871 to serve travelers using the Grand Trunk Railway, it now features beautiful woodwork, stained glass, etched windows, and tin ceilings, to complete an old English atmosphere. The menu includes traditional English fare like beer-battered fish with English cut fries served in a variety of ways, or contemporary creations like soy and ginger marinated beef tenderloin, and their award winning roasted tomato and wild mushroom soup, garnished with Stilton, basil pesto and croutons.
