The Westwood clinic staff are great. I have been going to Dr. Blake in there for a long time and he is exceptional. I had corneal abrasion in my right and I phoned and he just happened to be in Winnipeg then and they got me in that afternoon. He went above and beyond the call of duty and sent me to an ophthalmologist after that just to make sure that he saw what Dr. Blake saw and he did and that Doctor gave me eyedrops and it cleared up in 3 days.

I stayed here while I was unable to travel far from the airport due to a snowstorm. It was one of the best experiences I've had with hotels in Manitoba. I'm used to staying in crummy rundown motels so this was definitely more my style. The rooms were actually clean and well taken care of and the service was extremely friendly

On 12 February 1887, a strong representation of Winnipeg's newspaper publishers, editors and reporters gathered in their club rooms at Winnipeg City Hall to elect the first board for the Winnipeg Press Club.
