The Capilano Suspension Bridge is great family fun. The central part of this attraction is of course the bridge itself. 80 metres above the Capilano River it is often gut-check time to head out on the bridge and take a look over the side as it sways with the other visitors or, worse, the breeze. There isn't much to worry about but it is an exhilarating experience nonetheless. Beyond the bridge there is another equally exhilarating experience in the Treetops Adventure. Picture being high above the forest floor and going from tree to tree on a series of suspension bridges and getting to rest on platforms attached to the trees. Very cool. They have a great gift shop and lots of opportunities to learn about the history of the bridge and the first nations history in the area. A great deal for local residents too is that you can buy an unlimited membership good for a year for the same price as regular admission.

The purpose of our Society is to preserve and enhance the natural habitat and wildlife of the Ruby Lake Lagoon, to facilitate local environmental education and to assist in monitoring the ecological health of the region. We built and operate the Iris Griffith Interpretive Centre, provide diverse public education programs and events, and conduct a variety of environmental stewardship activities on the Sunshine Coast.
A talking horse, sitting pig, along with approx 20 varieties of farm animals - all of them are waiting for your farm adventure, complete with petting farm, horse and pony trail rides. Ride the horses, play in the Petting Farm, gather eggs, pet a turkey, receive a kiss from Dodger the llama. Meet, feed, hold, and learn about animals such as National Champion Spanish horses, mini's, ponies, micro pigs, llama, donkeys, dwarf goat, peacocks, turkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, teacup pig, bunnies, guinea pigs, pheasants - plus a talking horse who bows and gives back massages on request.
