Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) is a teaching hospital located approximately 45 minutes south of Ottawa. This included the redevelopment of obstetrics, surgery, emergency and inpatient care, and state of the art technology including a CT scanner and digital mammography. In 2012, WDMH's maternity service was named the number one recommended program in Ontario. WDMH is developing a Centre of Excellence for Rural Health and Education that brings together the hospital, physicians, nursing home and community services.
